Simple Kaul (born 24 November 1964) is an Indian television actress, who appears in television series like Kutumb, Shararat,Oye Jassie, Yam Hain Hum and Dilli Wali Thakur Gurls. Simple Kaul had learned Hindustani classical music in her early life. "I had learned Hindustani classical music in school for five years," reveals the actress to The Times of India, who loves listening to and singing old songs. She also said that she wants to become a playback singer in her later life. She is the owner of three restaurants in Mumbai with her friends Addite Shirwaikar and Vatsala Rajeev Raj. Her elder brother is Aashish Kaul who is also a famous television actor. Her ancestry traces back to the Nehru family, her mother being Deepa Kaul. She has been married to Rahul Loomba since February 16, 2010.
