Sidy Diop
Sidy Diop was born in Dakar Senegal on March 1975, and grew-up in New York City. At the age of 18 he started his journey in the Bronx. Curious and brave, he integrated into the street of New York chasing a dream. Few years later he found a job as a salesman in big shops in Soho,NY where he boosted his carrier as a Model... Couple of years later he decided to get into the acting industry, that push him to study at Wiest Barron Acting School. He studied with great coach as David Shuman, Batt Johnson. After Few years of training he decided to change direction, and moved to Rome, Italy where his career took a run as a professional actor in theater, and film. He is known in "Measure For Measure" di William Shakespeare directed by Gabiele Lavia, where he Interpreted "Bernardino". Few years later he got into the big screen, and interpreted "Dada" in "La Vita È Una Cosa Meravigliosa" directed by Carlo Vanzina. He's also known in "Gomorrah the Series" directed by Stefano Solima where he interpreted "Tokumbo". Slowly but surely, auditioning for film industry, got him to work with big director as: Carlo & Enrico Vanzina, Leonardo Pierraccioni, Alessandro Piva, Stefano Solima, Manetti Bro just to name a few. He's now based in Rome, and Dakar,Senegal Acting & Directing for film and theater!
