Rita Estevanovich

Caymanian (British)/Costa Rican Rita Nicole Estevanovich was born in George Town, Grand Cayman, the daughter of Bessie Ebanks and Alberto Estevanovich Rojas. She is an only child for both parents. Rita was educated at Rose Bruford College (London) earning an MA in Actor-Performer Training and is also a graduate of the New York Film Academy's Acting for Film program. Rita's BA in Liberal Studies (Political Science/International Relations, Business Admin, Spanish) is from the University of Central Florida in Orlando. She is best known for her work in Deliverance of Silence (film), Cayman Went (film), Doubt (stage), Fallen Angel and the Devil's Concubine (stage), Hannah's Confession (stage), Rundown: The Annual Comedy Revue (stage) and Gimistory International Storytelling Festival (stage). The Caymanian creative also enjoys working behind the scenes in casting, producing, and writing, and in particular, voiceover. Rita's distinct voice regularly promotes the Cayman Islands in a number of international ad campaigns for the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism including the 'Caymankind' and 'Dream in Cayman', and she's lent her voice to a myriad of projects for a wide range of clients including the Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman, Butterfield Bank, Bobo & Tedee animated series, Cayman Enterprise City, Her Story is our History, Wedding TV UK, the Cayman National Cultural Foundation, the iZ debut album, Cayman Port Referendum and many more. Rita has been recognized nationally in the Cayman Islands with a Gold Star for Creativity in the Arts, the Artistic Achievement Award, and a Bronze Heritage Cross for cultural heritage preservation. She was also the recipient of several awards at the World Championships of Performing Arts in San Diego including Best Actor and the overall Grand Champion Performer for her multi-character rendition of an excerpt from "A Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe" by Jane Wagner.
