Amanda Cohen

Funny, dark, sarcastic, optimistic. Amanda is a middle-age single woman who is definitely nobody's mom. She's your best nightmare: a fearless woman with a sharp sense of irony who will challenge your assumptions about people of a certain age, while still relating to all ages. She's played bars, breweries, bookstores, basements, back yards, buses, and barns, and of course clubs and colleges. She studied improv at Second City Conservatory, The Annoyance Theater, and ComedySportz. She moved from Chicago to LA in 2017 and she's now a regular at Flappers Comedy Club in Burbank, as a host, performer and Zoom producer. She also produces shows for the world's first virtual comedy club, Nowhere Comedy. She's hosted, showcased, featured, and headlined all over, including but not limited to the Improv Hollywood, The Comedy Store, Laugh Factory Chicago, and Zanies Chicago.
