Meredith Vivian
Meredith Vivian is a Los Angeles-based actress, writer, and director. Born and raised in Buffalo, New York, Meredith began studying theatre, dance, and piano at a young age. She went on to double major in Theatre and Communication Studies at Loyola University Chicago, graduating with two bachelor's degrees.
Meredith made her directorial debut in the short film, Ask Me Already, which was featured in the Pinewood Studios Lift-Off Global Network Sessions and was awarded "Best Writing" at the Mentone Film Festival in 2023. She recently wrapped on her political thriller, Overturned, which was a finalist for the From The Heart Productions Roy W. Dean Grant, is currently a finalist for the Abortion Pipeline Project at Barnard College, and won the Tilke Hill grant at the Buffalo International Film Festival in 2023.
As an actress, Meredith was nominated twice for "Best Actress" for her performance as Ruby in the short film, Where It Happened, which premiered at the Provincetown International Film Festival in 2022. She was ultimately awarded the title at the Los Angeles Crime and Horror Film Festival in November of the same year. Meredith made her feature film debut in the horror-thriller, Abigail, distributed by Dark Star Pictures and currently available on AppleTV.
As a writer, Meredith's credits include the web series Where Are They Now?, which screened at both Sydney Web Fest and Film Fest LA, ultimately placing in the Best Shorts Competition. Meredith's feature film script, Coolest Girl on Campus, can be found on The Black List.
