Wendy Thomas
Wendy Thomas is an English actress, writer and producer. Wendy has written and developed a TV Series; Obsessive Compulsive Love Disorder (OCLD) , a drama-comedy, executive produced by Steven Adams and Wendy Thomas. Wendy has just finished filming the role of Teresa, a newscaster in South of Hope Street (2024) with Michael Madsen, Judd Nelson and Billie Baldwin and is also co-starring in the feature film, 'Please Don't Be Long' with Onur Tukel, directed by Jane Spencer. Her early career began, aged 18, in Berlin as a singer in a band with Art and Stew who wrote a Broadway musical based on the bands adventures in Europe, later made into a movie, 'Passing Strange' directed by Spike Lee. After studying for a degree in Theatre and Film at the University of Westminster, Wendy went on to play Consuela in the feature film Hitman (1997) and Gemma in the critically acclaimed feature The Ninth Cloud (2014) starring Michael Madsen and Jean-Hugues Anglade directed by Jane Spencer. She also played a detective, O'Hara opposite Gary Webster in the Sci-Fi comedy Trouble on Earth (1998) Her current feature film roles are Suzanne Duchamp in The Velvet Gentleman with Rosanna Arquette and Jean-Hugues Anglade. Wendy has honed her craft as an actress in the London theatre, playing leading roles including, Marjorie in 'Extremities', Claudia in 'Nuts' and Inez in 'No Exit'.
